Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 1:10 p.m. Friday. Troopers have not released the identities of those involved. A white Chevrolet pickup with no passengers was northbound on U.S. 69 when another white Chevrolet pickup with two passengers attempted to cross the highway eastbound on West 40th Street North, Trooper Josh Lawson said. The two passengers and two drivers were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries, Lawson said. The northbound vehicle struck the front-end side of the other vehicle while it attempted to cross the highway, Lawson said. As of press time, the trooper’s report had not been released.
