Emergency personnel respond to the scene of a collision shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shawnee Bypass and Chicago Avenue that sent a Fort Gibson woman to an area hospital. Muskogee Police Officer Alan Bemo said Mary Willis, 37, was transported with possible head and neck injuries after a 2003 Lincoln Town Car collided with the side of her Ford Fusion. Bemo said the Town Car, driven by Jmari Davis, 17, ran a red light westbound on Shawnee Bypass, colliding with Willis’ Fusion, which was southbound on Chicago Avenue. Willis’ condition was unavailable Wednesday evening. Davis was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, Bemo said.
