Fredrick Thompson just graduated from the Getting Out While Getting Ahead program Monday, which is designed for felons and is conducted at the Gospel Rescue Mission. He explains that the class focuses on several things including goal setting, identifying friends who are assets or liabilities and developing a plan for their lives. Thompson served 18 years for first-degree murder.
