Participants in the 9/11 Walk to Remember exit the parking lot at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center at 300 W. Martin Luther King St. on Saturday afternoon. Jeremy Luther, a Navy veteran, said the walk meant a lot to him because he joined the military specifically due to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
