Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Bill John Baker’s State of the Nation address followed the theme of this year’s Cherokee National Holiday — “Stewards of Our Land,” reflecting the Cherokee’s efforts on preservation of traditional lands, wildlife and natural resources.
