A driver, whose name was not released, collided with a temporary city worker at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday while the worker was mowing the center median on Peak Boulevard near Country Club Road. The crash occurred when the driver of the Dodge Dart hit the tractor from behind when the tractor had moved onto the roadway to travel elsewhere, said Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Randy Cox. “The mower was in the left lane going somewhere else to mow and as far as we can tell, the kid was distracted by something in the car and hit the mower from behind,” Cox said. Both drivers were taken to Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee to be treated for minor injuries.
