Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department worker Clay Thompson holds a bundle of Christmas lights while Tim Doerner strings others atop a tall tree in Honor Heights Park. Millions of lights will shine during the park’s annual Garden of Lights.
The Garden of Lights display at Honor Heights Park will feature a field of Christmas trees, laser-light displays and other attractions.
The Garden will be open from Thanksgiving night through New Year’s Day. Hours will be from 5:30 to 10p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5:30 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The park will be closed to motorists on Tuesday, allowing workers to work on the displays. People still can walk to or through the park.
