Traffic on West Okmulgee Avenue passes both sides of city workers cutting into the pavement Wednesday afternoon. Public Works Department crews dug into a sewer line near the 800 block of West Okmulgee to see what repairs are needed. A sanitary sewer line had failed in the vicinity of a storm sewer line, causing a sinkhole. The sanitary line was repaired, and the city is working to repair the storm sewer.
