Muskogee’s historic Carnegie Library is one of four properties being nominated for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Construction of the Carnegie Library began in 1912 and it opened in May of 1914 at a cost of $60,000 and with a capacity of 40,000 books. The structure is now occupied by the Ark of Faith Foundation.
