Children wait for balloons to drop during Friday’s Noon Year’s Eve event at the Muskogee Public Library. After the balloon drop, the children were able to choose a book to take home with them. The children also watched the movie, “Incredibles 2,” prior to the balloon drop. They counted down from 10 when the clock in the library reached noon, and the balloons came down. The event was held Friday because New Year’s Eve is Monday and the library will be closed.
