Area law enforcement officers visited with Champlain for a birthday surprise bearing wrapped gifts at his home in Muskogee. Tabitha McReynolds said her son always asks to go hug a police officer when he sees one, but he hasn’t gotten his wish because they always see officers working and doesn’t want to interfere.
