Garry Hayes, general manager of American Foundry Group, unloads school supplies from a vehicle Monday afternoon. American Foundry employees collected more than $500 in school supplies for Irving Elementary School. Foundry general manager Garry Hayes said a number of employees have children at Irving. He said they surveyed Irving faculty about their greatest classroom needs. He said employees collected chlorine wipes, tissue, pencils, erasers and other items beyond basic supplies provided by Muskogee Public Schools. Classes begin Thursday at MPS.
