BFSA teacher gets education grant

Damon Beckers, physical education teacher at Ben Franklin Science Academy, receives his $786 grand Friday from Tim Matthews, chairman of the grant committee for the Muskogee Education Foundation, while Beckers' students celebrate. The money will be used to create an obstacle course.
