Richard Randell, Muskogee Parks and Recreation, straightens a string of lights that go up a 30-foot-tall Christmas tree. Honor Heights Park closes Monday Nov. 4 to begin preparations for Garden of Lights Festival. The process includes stringing over 1.2 million lights over the 132 acre park. Richard Randell, Muskogee Parks and Recreation, says it takes around 20 workers to put the display together as he climbs the colorful Christmas tree, stringing lights on the way.
