Bedouin Shrine clowns, from left, Hi-Bi (Dick Morris) and Tin Pony (Robert Ishmael) tell youngsters at Fort Gibson’s Early Learning Center a story. The clowns came to the ELC to promote this weekend’s Shrine Circus. Bedouin Shrine clowns have distributed Shrine Circus tickets to more than 40,000 youngsters throughout the area. The circus will be at noon, 4 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 6 p.m. Sunday at the Muskogee Civic Center. Admission is $14 for people 13 and older and free for kids 12 and younger. The circus helps the Bedouin Shrine pay for maintenance, utilities and other costs for the Shrine Temple in Muskogee. The Shrine also has circuses in Tahlequah, Stigler, Sallisaw and McAlester this week.
